role

In this Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial Programs & Excellence role you will be part of a dynamic, international and fast‑paced FP&A team. Based in Manchester, UK, you will report to the Senior Manager of FP&A, Commercial Programs & Excellence and will support financial decision‑making across the entire commercial organisation (all BUs and Verticals). You will provide strong financial and analytical support, bridge data with decision‑making, and own the planning and forecasting cycles for both financial and operational business metrics.

You will also drive FP&A’s cross‑unit commercial insights capabilities, advance forecasting models, and lead the commercial board decision‑making and ROI framework for all verticals.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting of financial performance.
  • Contribute to robust, scalable, and insightful reporting of the business unit’s key metrics.
  • Proactively deliver intelligence based on data to support and advise FP&A and business partners.
  • Provide analytical support and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize existing reporting to align with evolving requests from senior management.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analysis, scenarios, and benchmarking as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field (preferred).
  • 3‑5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to connect data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to different audiences.
  • Self‑driven mentality, proactive problem‑solving, and a focus on delivering high‑quality analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, data mining, Microsoft VBA, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to understand, work with, and proactively advise business partners.
  • Team‑working skills with the ability to work independently in a cross‑functional, unstructured environment.
  • Capacity to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion.
