Audit Senior Job specification
Location - Manchester (Hybrid Working)
Salary - £45-£55k
Job SummaryPlanning and performing, audit testing, and completing external audits of small and medium sized companies and charities
Training, supervising, and reviewing the work of assistants
Supporting and reporting to the managerPreparation of financial statements for charities, and small and medium sized companies as part of the audit engagement if desired
Preparation of corporation tax calculations if desiredAd-hoc assignments as necessary. This may include working for other MC offices, FDD, cashflow forecasts etc.
Desired skills- At least least 12 - 24 months’ experience in a similar role
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong communication skills and confident in speaking to clients, managers, and assistants
- Experience in using CCH Accounts Production, CCH Audit Automation, and Alphatax. Preferred but not essential, as full training will be given
- Attention to detail, and technical ability
- A desire to learn and develop skills
- Experience of working on clients of varying sizes across a broad range of sectors
- Varied range of work types
- In-house training on all aspects of the work provided
Flexible hybrid working. This is to be agreed between the manager and the employee
Salary dependent on experience
