Interpath is looking for an experienced candidate to help develop Interpath’s growing financial modelling capabilities.
Responsibilities- Supporting large and small projects to support clients in tackling business issues
- Applying technical skills to devise compelling and well thought out solutions to complex problems
- Building constructive working relationships to develop internal and external networks
- Providing high quality and flexible modelling solutions for a diverse range of clients
- Using existing and developing new modelling skills to support delivery, develop capabilities and share knowledge on solutions and best practice techniques
- Cost modelling, financial forecast and scenario modelling, transaction modelling, debt and project finance modelling
- Developing tactical solutions that automate finance and other operations
- Development of data models to support modelling and analytics deliverables
- Using visualisation and analytical software to drive insights from data to inform client decisions
- Supporting the various teams within Interpath (Restructuring, Advisory, Deals) to exploit modelling and data capabilities
- Aptitude for managing projects, clients and stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to scoping, designing and building financial models
- Strong communication skills to be able to describe complex technical issues in a clear and non-technical way
- Experience in supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships across a range of teams
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements in a controlled manner
- A recognised finance or accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/CFA or similar)
- A first-class or upper second-class degree in a numerate subject
- Experience in the Business Intelligence/Data Analytics space
- University degree 2.1 or higher (or equivalent) in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent
- Completion of a recognised financial modelling course
- Consulting experience
- Data visualisation experience in Power BI, Qlik View or Tableau Numerate & analytical with knowledge of data management
- Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques (e.g. clustering)
- Technically self-sufficient with a desire and ability to research and pick up new tools and techniques quickly
- Ability to visualise data effectively and communicate findings and recommendations clearly
