Broster Buchanan are partnering with our client, a recognised NW business, in their search for a Finance Manager within Group Functions.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting group-wide functions, ensuring robust financial control, insightful reporting, and effective business partnering across central teams. The role will also involve leading and developing a small finance team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing a team of finance professionals, including coaching, performance management, and succession planning
• Managing monthly management accounts for group functions
• Budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders across central departments
• Supporting year-end and statutory reporting processes
• Driving continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reporting
• Providing commercial insight to support strategic and strategic decision-making

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Group Finance role
• Demonstrable experience of leading, motivating, and developing a finance team
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical capability
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
