The Role

The opportunity has arisen for an ambitious assistant management accountant to join the ClubL London Finance Team, based in Trafford Park, Manchester. This role will be to fully support thebusy finance department in ensuring accurate and timely management accounts and line management of a small team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support in the continuous improvement of month-end processes
  • Responsible for all HMRC & statutory filings including VAT returns & PAYE submissions
  • Oversee worldwide tax and regulatory compliance
  • Assisting on reporting contribution by location
  • Support on Business Partnering departments across the business
  • Support with stat accounts
  • Management and Submission of UK and EU tax returns
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly Group Management Accounts & Board Pack submission to stakeholders
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Support on the annual financial audit
About You
  • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Previous experience of at least 5 years finance/industry department
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with colleagues to ensure work is delivered on time
  • Results driven and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
