Financial Manager, CFO
Join a growing retail group where your financial expertise will directly support strategic growth across multiple ventures.
A Manchester-based retail group is hiring a Financial Controller to take full responsibility for the finance function of a key division. Current turnover is £12m and forecast to reach around £18m next year, with several new ventures already underway.
There is a clear progression plan, with the intention for this role to develop into a Finance Director position over the next 18–36 months.
The role combines strong financial control with genuine commercial input. You’ll work closely with Operations and Sales on pricing, growth plans, and efficiency improvements, while leading a team of four and supporting better decision‑making across the business.
You’ll report directly to the Managing Director and work alongside the Sales Director, with support from a fractional Finance Director at group level. This gives good exposure both operationally and across the wider group. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP would be helpful as reporting and processes continue to develop, though it’s not essential.
