Management Accountant
Role: Management Accountant
Based: Manchester
Forge Talent is working with a housing company based in Manchester who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Director, this role will support the preparation of management accounts, financial analysis, and reporting for multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), variance analysis, and board reports.
- Assist with annual budgets, re-forecasting, and monitor performance against targets.
- Conduct profitability analysis, support automation, and ensure accurate month-end processes (accruals, reconciliations).
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, statutory filings (Companies House, HMRC, pensions).
- Finalist or studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Management accounting experience
- Previous experience within the Housing sector is advantageous
- Advanced Excel
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Proactive mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
