Management Accountant – Tech Scale-Up – Manchester

About the Business:

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis of performance against budget and forecast
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful variance analysis
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and drive performance
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist with cash flow management, cost control, and margin analysis
- Support process improvement initiatives across reporting and systems
- Contribute to year‑end accounts and liaise with external auditors as required
About You:
You’ll be a part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with strong management accounting experience and a proactive, hands‑on approach. You’ll enjoy getting into the detail while also contributing to commercial decisions and business improvements.
You’ll bring:
- Strong management accounting and reporting experience
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Commercial awareness and the confidence to partner with non‑finance teams
- Desire to work in a fast‑paced, growing tech environment
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership
The Package:
- Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
