Join Lloyds Banking Group as a Mid Corporate Healthcare Relationship Director. You will be a strategic partner to high‑value clients in the healthcare sector, building and leading a portfolio that spans lending, deposits, and comprehensive banking solutions.
About this opportunityWe are seeking a seasoned corporate banking professional with sector expertise in healthcare. The role focuses on new business origination and deepening existing relationships within the £25‑100m turnover segment for mid‑corporate clients.
Responsibilities- Build and lead a portfolio of healthcare clients, delivering comprehensive banking services including lending, deposits, and other related products.
- Originate and develop new high‑profile client relationships, positioning yourself as a strategic partner.
- Analyse opportunities and proactively prospect for high‑value healthcare mid‑corporate clients.
- Inform the development of the market proposition to win share in the mid‑corporate sector.
- Lead and mentor within the regional team, supporting the Regional Director and investing in your own professional development.
- Maintain a strong market presence, ensuring Lloyds’ brand and messaging resonate with prospects and clients.
- Build partnership relationships that enhance client interactions and tailored product offerings.
- Assume accountability for credit, compliance, and operational risk across your client portfolio.
- Support clients in developing ESG strategies and advancing their Net Zero journeys.
- Prior experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking with a sector specialism in Healthcare.
- Proactive relationship builder, passionate about supporting client needs and consistently exceeding service commitments.
- Strong business origination skills with proven local network connections and a track record of generating new opportunities.
- Proven credit experience, capable of evaluating propositions and delivering effective commercial recommendations to the Credit team.
- Comprehensive understanding of legal documentation and the ability to negotiate commercial terms while managing risk.
