Game Mathematician – iGaming

Are you a mathematically sharp, analytically driven thinker looking to apply your skills within the world of online gaming?

One of our leading clients within the gambling space is looking for a talented Mathematician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the creation of engaging, compliant and commercially successful gaming products used by players worldwide.

In this role as a Game Mathematician, you’ll be responsible for designing, modelling and analysing the mathematical frameworks that power casino and gaming products, ensuring they are both exciting for players and commercially optimised.

You’ll work closely with developers, game designers and compliance teams to bring concepts to life from initial modelling through to release.

• Design, model and analyse mathematical frameworks for casino and gaming products
• Collaborate with developers, game designers and compliance teams to take concepts from initial modelling to release
• Ensure products are engaging for players and commercially optimised

• Minimum of 2 years in the iGaming sector
• Strong degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a related discipline
• Excellent probability theory and statistical modelling knowledge
• Experience with Excel (advanced), Python, R or similar analytical tools
• Understanding of RNG mechanics and gaming maths (highly desirable)
• Logical, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts clearly

Location:

Hybrid / Office-based (depending on team requirements)

💰 Salary: £35k-£40k (depending on experience)
