We are looking for event managers to join our on‑site events team and assist in managing Fever Originals’ flagship experience, Candlelight. This position is freelance with flexible month‑to‑month hours and may lead to other Fever Originals event work or permanent opportunities.
What is Candlelight?- Candlelight concerts create a unique musical and sensory experience, drawing audiences into a stunning ambience of candlelight.
- The concerts showcase talent from emerging to professional musicians.
- We are expanding Candlelight beyond classical music into jazz, soul, flamenco, opera and other fitting genres.
- Follow instructions and materials provided by the manager to deliver events.
- Manage and keep to scheduled event timings provided by the manager.
- Implement new or amended production details, company policies and procedures.
- Serve as artist liaison.
- Report and provide feedback on issues and queries to managers.
- Manage production and handle on‑site logistical issues.
- Control vocal microphone channels and aux music on the sound desk, manage microphone distribution.
- Direct and manage soundcheck.
- Oversee all vendors.
- Brief and liaise with venues.
- Lead, support and brief the team.
- Host the event.
- Act as the main point of contact for the event.
- Deal with customer queries and complaints.
- Ensure high‑quality execution of the event.
- Prepare event reports and incident report forms.
- Manage unforeseen circumstances and emergencies.
- Provide photographs and feedback after each event to the manager.
- Encourage high performance and implement improvements with team members and the entire team.
- 1+ years of event management experience (preferred).
- Keen interest and passion for live music and event delivery (preferred).
- Sound engineering skills (desirable).
- Public speaking (desirable).
- Exceptional customer service (required).
- Highly competent in team/people management (required).
- Assertive and measured in a high‑pressure environment (required).
- Strong problem‑solving skills (required).
- Can‑do attitude (required).
- Flexible (required).
- Leading by example (required).
- Works well under pressure (required).
