Mechanical Engineer - Manchester City Centre - Immediate Start

A leading FM provider is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join large contract in the heart of Manchester City Centre. If you are looking to develop your skills within a job role in a fast paced well respected company then this could be the right job for you.

My client based in the facilities maintenance industry is looking for a confident outgoing engineer that can use his/her own initiative to produce results. The position is temporary to permanent opportunity last 3 months on the temporary side.

Salary The rate of pay for this position is up to £29 per hour.

Work Hours Monday to Friday early 6:30AM to 15:30pm and lates 13:30pm to 22:30pm. There may also be opportunities to join the on-call rota with overtime opportunities available.

• PPM and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and competent to rectify
• Regular fire alarm testing and drills. Ensuring the fire equipment is in working order and updating the fire alarm log book
• Liaise with management regarding health and safety procedures/issues, ongoing repairs and faults, maintenance and building services.
• Assisting with basic fabric duties on site

• Minimum C&G level/NVQ 2 in mechanical engineering OR plumbing
• Experience in commercial building services
• General maintenance experience
• Time served in an apprenticeship is an advantage
