A global civil and geo‑environmental specialist are looking to appoint an experienced Ground Remediation Engineer to join their Manchester‑based team, driving challenging contaminated land and ground investigation projects across the UK.

This role is with an innovative consulting engineering firm with a strong reputation for delivering civil, structural and geo‑environmental solutions on infrastructure, regeneration and development projects globally. They combine technical excellence with practical, sustainable approaches to solving complex ground risks and remediation challenges.

• Lead ground contamination risk assessments, remediation strategy development and implementation support
• Manage site investigations, ground gas risk assessments and regulatory liaison
• Work closely with civil and structural teams to integrate geo‑environmental solutions into broader engineering design
• Support project management from feasibility through to delivery

• Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geosciences, Geo‑Environmental Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience in contaminated land assessment, remediation strategy & supervision
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites as required
• Full right to work in the UK
• Must live in, or near, Manchester
