Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy with a strong Manchester presence and a track record spanning some of the most technically varied sectors in
the built environment. They're looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to step into a senior, client-facing position — someone ready to lead projects, grow a team, and leave a real mark on the region.

What the role involves:
 Owning client relationships from initial brief through to project delivery, acting as the primary point of contact on larger schemes
 Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, delegating effectively and maintaining quality standards throughout
 Driving business development — contributing to bids and promoting the full range of consultancy services
 Monitoring project budgets and reporting on cost and resource requirements
 Supporting the development of a high-performing local team and investing in the people around you

What they're looking for:
 Proven mechanical engineering experience in a consultancy setting, with strong knowledge of HVAC, heating and ventilation systems
 Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD
 Confident communicator with experience managing both internal teams and external client relationships
 Familiarity with relevant British Standards and a multidisciplinary design environment
 Someone who understands how complementary specialisms — acoustics, fire engineering, computational modelling — influence building services design
