Overview
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager:
Oversee QHSE policies, procedures, and compliance across all operations.
Conduct RCA’s and be a leader for positive change.
Ensure vehicle bodybuilding and modifications meet Type Approval (IVA, VCA, DVSA) and industry regulations.
Develop and implement quality management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain and have control of the QMS.
Monitor and advise on COSHH, PUWER and LOLER requirements and adherence.
Monitor NCR’s and customer feedback.
Deliver QHSE training programmes to staff, ensuring a strong safety culture.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers to maintain compliance and certifications.
Skills and Qualifications for the Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager:
Proven track record in a QHSE and/or compliance role within vehicle bodybuilding, automotive, or engineering industries.
Awareness and understanding of Type Approval, IVA, VCA, and industry standards, development training can be provided.
Ability to lead a safety-first culture and implement compliance improvements, inspiring those around you.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
Utilsing great communication skills to confidently liaise with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and internal teams.
