A well-established civil engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to lead infrastructure projects across Manchester and the wider region. As an Associate Civil Engineer, you will combine technical delivery with team leadership and client-facing responsibility.

This Associate Civil Engineer role sits at the heart of the Manchester office, offering ownership of highways, drainage and SuDS schemes from concept through to construction.

• Lead highways, drainage and infrastructure design
• Manage and mentor engineers within the Manchester team
• Act as principal contact for clients and stakeholders
• Review calculations, drawings and technical reports
• Support fee proposals and business development
• Ensure delivery to programme, budget and compliance standards

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum seven years’ UK consultancy experience
• Strong infrastructure, roads and drainage background
• Proficient in AutoCAD and civil design software
• Experience leading teams and supporting growth

This Associate Civil Engineer position offers a salary of £68,000 – £74,000, leadership influence and long‑term progression within a respected Manchester consultancy.
