Sub Project Manager HVDC Control & Protection

How You'll Make an Impact

• Lead the preparation of proposals and the project management of HVDC control and protection systems, ensuring delivery against schedule, cost, and quality targets.
• Provide technical leadership for the Control & Protection offer/order processing team, working closely with project management, project leads, and experts in studies, software, hardware, and testing.
• Plan, monitor, and manage all aspects of offer and order processing, including technical concept development, scope definition, scheduling, resource planning, costing, quality control, and risk/opportunity management.
• Oversee subcontracting activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and standards.
• Manage reporting, information flow, documentation, and order closure activities, maintaining accuracy and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive the execution of process and design reviews to ensure robust engineering practices and continuous improvement.
• Completed university degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, or a comparable discipline, typically with a duration of more than four years.
• Extensive relevant professional experience, including experience in project management.
• Voltage technology, and control systems.
• Understanding of HVDC technology and plant engineering is highly beneficial.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and project management tools.
• Able to communicate fluently in English;
  German language skills are an advantage. Intercultural experience and willingness to travel for customer clarification and commissioning support are ideal.
