This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business based in Manchester as a Quality Engineer.

ResponsibilitiesAs Quality Engineer you will be reporting into the Quality Manager and will have a strong problem-solving focus to the role. You will be working closely with the manufacturing team to identify non-conformance issues, identify root cause and put in place corrective actions.
You will also be a key member of the company’s continuous improvement programme and will tasked with reducing waste and reducing the scrap rate.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will be an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong automotive / lead manufacturing background. With the business embarking on a major continuous improvement programme, candidates with six-sigma green belt or black belt will have a distinct advantage. You will also be fully conversant with fishbone/ishikawa, 8D and 5Y methodology. Finally, as this is a role supporting the manufacturing operation, you will ideally have goods hands on engineering experience.
