• Design and standardise camera layouts including height, angle, field of view, and overlap for AVI units
• Configure camera parameters such as exposure, gain, shutter, focus, and frame rate
• Support new site deployments, upgrades, and on‑site troubleshooting of imaging issues
• Identify and resolve problems caused by glare, shadows, reflections, vibration, or environmental factors
• Work closely with AI and ML teams to diagnose image‑related performance issues
• Define and maintain version‑controlled "known good" camera configurations
• Produce clear site documentation including diagrams, photos, and configuration notes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of installation standards and rollout playbooks

• Hands‑on experience with camera systems, CCTV, machine vision, or imaging hardware
• Strong understanding of optics, lighting, angles, and image quality fundamentals
• Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting cameras in real‑world environments
• Comfortable working on‑site within industrial, depot, or workshop settings
• Ability to clearly document technical setups

Desirable experience includes:

• Exposure to computer vision or AI‑powered imaging systems
• Familiarity with AVI, ANPR, or vehicle inspection environments
• Understanding of how image quality impacts ML model performance
• Experience with platforms such as Basler, Hikvision, or Axis
• Basic networking knowledge including IP cameras, PoE, and Switches
