We are recruiting an experienced Service & Small Works Engineer to support and maintain enterprise-level security systems across the Northwest / Bolton region. This role suits a Security Service Engineer, CCTV Service Engineer, or Access Control Engineer with strong fault-finding and minor works experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on enterprise security systems

* Carrying out small works, upgrades, and system modifications

* Diagnosing and resolving issues across IP CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms

* Software updates, configuration changes, and system testing

* Client support across commercial and enterprise environments

* Producing service reports and maintaining compliance with industry standards

* Occasional requirements to assist with new site surveys and small works planning

* Opportunities to progress into a more supervisor level role.

Systems & Skills (Keywords):

* CCTV Service Engineer / IP CCTV / VMS (Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Hikvision)

* Access Control Service Engineer (Gallagher, Lenel, Paxton, Honeywell)

* Intruder Alarms

* Enterprise security systems

* Networking: IP, TCP/IP, VLANs

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Security Systems Service Engineer or Small Works Engineer

* Strong fault-finding and customer-facing skills

* Experience working on commercial / enterprise security systems

* Full UK driving licence

* ECS / IPAF / CSCS (desirable)

* Manufacturer certifications (beneficial)
