2D/3D Autocad Engineer - Manchester

With consistent growth, our client has created an exciting opportunity for an Autocad Engineer to join their growing design team based in South Manchester

• Generating detailed 2D/3D general arrangement and fabrication drawings from quotations using the company's build specification and components data sheets.
• Creating detailed raw material and parts list using Microsoft Excel.
• Ensuring project traceability is maintained via drawing registers, customer approval records and parts/servicing list.
• Working on multiple projects at one time.
• Working closely with suppliers and fabricators.

The ideal candidate will require the following skills and experience.

• Experience of design in a similar industry or structural engineering.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D (Primary software).
• Knowledge of design, engineering and AutoCAD standards.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Clean driving licence (some points acceptable).
• Hands‑on experience and knowledge of manufacture process is advantage.
