Are you a results-driven engineer with a passion for solving complex technical challenges? Black & White Engineering is seeking Power Systems Engineers to join our global, multi-award-winning consultancy. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge MV and HV projects across Data Centres and Building Services.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re searching for someone who brings both technical depth and strong leadership qualities. You will thrive in a collaborative environment and excel at driving projects from concept to completion. Ideally, you will have:
- A relevant engineering degree (or equivalent qualification/experience).
- Associate or student membership of a professional body such as the IET (or an international equivalent).
- Chartered Engineer status — or actively working towards it.
- Extensive experience across a wide range of power engineering technical areas.
- Proven track record in MV and HV design
, contributing to small- and large-scale projects from early design through to completion. - Strong technical knowledge of MV generation using multiple prime movers (diesel, HVO, gas, etc.).
- Deep understanding of power systems, network design and resilient control engineering
. - Sound understanding of BS and IEC standards
, UK regulations, and equivalent international codes. - Familiarity with National Grid
, DNO/IDNO practices, and ENA specifications (or overseas equivalents).
- Proficiency in ETAP (or equivalent power systems analysis software).
- Experience using AutoCAD
, Microsoft Office
, and engineering calculation tools.
