About the Role
Vertical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join a dynamic engineering consultancy based in Manchester. The business is steadily expanding with a technical team of over 40 in Manchester and a network of global offices.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Structural Revit Technician with expertise in Revit to work on prestigious projects, including high-rise buildings, stadiums, and defense facilities with BAE.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Develop detailed structural Revit models for various high-profile projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
 
* Coordinate with structural engineers and other team members to integrate structural designs into comprehensive Revit models.
 
* Prepare high-quality 2D and 3D construction drawings and details, tailored to client requirements.
 
* Manage Revit workflows, enforce model standards, and troubleshoot issues to enhance team efficiency.
 
* Support BIM coordination and clash detection processes to optimize design solutions.
 
* Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and best practices.
 
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Revit software and recommend improvements to internal workflows and project standards.
Qualifications
 
* HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
 
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Structural Revit Technician within a consultancy or similar environment.
 
* Strong skills with Revit.
 
* Experience working on similar projects in the building sector.
 
* Strong knowledge of UK building codes, standards, and regulations.
 
* Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
 
* Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
