They work across a wide variety of sectors including Education, Commercial, Retail, Residential, Healthcare, Industrial, Infrastructure and Ballistic Design. STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Essential Requirements

* Minimum two years’ experience within Structural design, including steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry construction to Euro Code standard

* Proficient use of AutoCAD, Master series and TEDDS design software

* Producing detailed structural calculations and sketches

* Preparation of construction drawings and specifications

* Commercial awareness of costing, budgets and quotations

* Report writing

* Site visits to verify construction complies with construction drawings

Desirable Attributes

* Understanding of STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit

* Project management and leadership skills

* Willing to work towards or nearing Chartered Status
