Process Engineering Lead – Waste Water

Based in our Manchester office, this newly created opportunity – Framework Process Engineering Lead – expects a high‑profile client‑facing role, shaping, developing and implementing technical excellence, influencing best practices, and delivering sustainable water solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the key stakeholder for the client, Framework Manager, and Design Managers within the wider Jacobs engineering team.
  • Provide technical leadership, advice and support to resolve issues across projects.
  • Guide and mentor colleagues to deliver exceptional outcomes through AMP8 and beyond.
  • Drive innovation by introducing new initiatives, challenging technical solutions, managing and implementing improvement.
  • Lead multi‑disciplined teams delivering excellence across all phases of a project lifecycle.
  • Lead and optimise process engineering delivery across the Framework programme.
  • Drive innovation and identify opportunities to maximise client value.
  • Foster and continuously develop partnership working relationships with our client and JV partners.
Qualifications
  • Progressive career leading multi‑disciplinary design teams within the water sector, with an open and inclusive approach to leadership and teamwork.
  • Demonstrable track record in the development, engineering and delivery of innovative complex solutions.
  • Chartered Ceng/IChem.
  • Able to work effectively with stakeholders across all functional disciplines, skills and areas of expertise.
  • Comfortable building professional relationships while fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Excellent organisational and proactive planning skills; comfortable coordinating multiple work streams and meetings.
  • Innovative and technical excellence mindset – committed to continuous improvement and team development.
