CAD Engineer

Job Title: CAD/Design Engineer (Permanent)
Salary: £30,000–£35,000
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

We are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business to recruit two CAD Engineers for their Design Hub in North Manchester. Both entry‑level and experienced positions are available.

• Producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar).
• Supporting the development of new and existing product designs.
• Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure designs are manufacture‑ready and meet stringent quality standards.
• Assisting with documentation for prototypes, testing procedures and certifications.
• Managing engineering drawing files and maintaining up‑to‑date records of product configurations.

• Proven experience using 3D CAD software (ideally Inventor or Solid Works) in a mechanical engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials (particularly metals and precision components).
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
