Field Service Engineer - PowerSystems

TW Perry is looking for a Field Service Engineer - Power Systems in the West Midlands. The role involves commissioning, repair and maintenance of industrial UPS systems, chargers and related equipment primarily in onshore and offshore oil/gas and nuclear facilities.

Negotiable base salary up to £50K, plus realistic Year 1 OTE (~£60‑65K). Pension, company car/van, phone, laptop. Flexible home base:
Greater Manchester, East and West Midlands, Central England.

• Commission, maintain and repair industrial UPS systems and associated equipment.
• Provide onsite support for industrial sites such as power stations, oil & gas locations, and nuclear facilities.
• Collaborate with various departments and personnel to resolve customer issues.
• Prepare service reports and timesheets using laptop.

• Minimum 2 years experience as a service engineer in the Electrical/Electronic industry.
• HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated with minimal supervision.
• Experience in industrial sites (power stations, oil & gas, nuclear) is an advantage.
• Clean driving licence.
• IT literate, comfortable with laptop use.

Entry level, full‑time, Information Technology/Repair & Maintenance.
