Role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our busy combined team across the Birmingham and Manchester offices. You will play a leading role in the ongoing development of our civil engineering team throughout the Midlands and North‑West, delivering a wide range of development and infrastructure projects.

  • Work alongside a specialist team of engineers and technicians across a varied portfolio of civil engineering projects.
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of design, ensuring technically excellent and profitable projects.
  • Lead design activities from feasibility and concept design through planning submission to detailed design for construction and site inspections.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng) with Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent) or in the final stages of attainment.
  • Demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD, Innovyse Info Drainage and Civil 3D.
  • Experience across roads, drainage, flood risk assessments, pavement design, public realm, earthworks and utility infrastructure.
  • Experience in highways design for private development and local authority projects is highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budgetary constraints and to support the technical development of junior staff and graduates.
  • Passion for creative, sustainable and intuitive design.
