Primary Teaching Assistant

Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 child in a mainstream primary school in Hale, Altrincham. This full-time role is to start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. Hours for this role are 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

The school is looking for someone who can be a calming and supportive presence, helping the child manage their behaviour and engage effectively with the curriculum. The child can be disruptive at times, so the ideal candidate will have experience in behaviour management and the ability to build a positive and trusting relationship. Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt strategies to support the child’s needs are essential.
