Role: Lecturer in Special Education Needs

Rate: 30 - 40 per hour

Type: Full Time, Temporary

Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Special Educational Needs with SPMLD experience to join a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.

This is a full time temporary role to start after half term, 36 hours per week paid.

• Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons on Special Educational Needs, with a focus on SPMLD.
• Design and develop high-quality learning materials, tailored to the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Support students with SPMLD in a way that enhances their academic, social, and personal development.
• Contribute to the creation of an inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff members and external agencies to ensure holistic student support.

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with students with SPMLD.
• Strong knowledge of Special Educational Needs frameworks and strategies, with a focus on SPMLD.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A DBS is also needed for this role. If you do not have a current DBS Eden Brown can apply for a new one on your behalf.
