Primary - HLTA

Aspire People are working in partnership with a well-established and forward‑thinking primary school in Salford who are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full‑time, long‑term basis.

This role is ideal for a confident HLTA who is comfortable leading whole‑class sessions, covering PPA, and delivering structured interventions across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

• Delivering pre‑planned lessons across different year groups during PPA cover.
• Leading small‑group booster sessions in Maths and English.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
• Working closely with teaching staff to maintain high standards of learning.
• Assisting with planning and adapting lesson materials where required.
• Supporting behaviour management and classroom organisation.
• Contributing to assessment and pupil progress monitoring.

• HLTA status or significant experience in a higher‑level TA role.
• Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Confident delivering lessons independently.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Recent experience within a UK primary school (within the last 2 years).
• Flexible and adaptable approach to working across year groups.
