Premier Education are working with a supportive primary school in Manchester, part of a well-established multi-academy trust, to recruit a Reception Teacher (EYFS) for a long-term role from March to May 2026.
This is a 4-day-per-week position, ideal for teachers looking for strong work-life balance while gaining valuable experience in Early Years. The school provides excellent support and mentoring, making it a great opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers alike.
The school is easily accessible from Manchester, Stockport and Tameside, with good transport links.
The Role
Teaching a Reception class (EYFS)
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS framework
Supporting pupils' early development, learning and wellbeing
Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment
Working collaboratively with the wider school team
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - UK
Experience teaching in Early Years / Reception
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Ability to support pupils with additional needs
Good behaviour management and classroom organisation
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
