Time Plan Education is supporting a warm, community-focused primary school seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join their KS2 team. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who can secure strong progress in Upper Key Stage 2 and prepare pupils for Year 6.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the full KS2 curriculum, with a strong focus on reading, writing and maths.
  • Differentiate learning for a range of abilities, including pupils with SEND and higher attainers.
  • Use assessment to track progress, close gaps and prepare pupils for upper key stage expectations.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and families, and contribute fully to the wider life of the school.
Ideal Candidate
  • Hold QTS and have recent experience teaching in KS2 (Year 5 or Year 6 desirable).
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and high expectations for all pupils.
  • Be collaborative, organised and committed to providing a supportive, high‑quality classroom environment.
