Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
Specialist School - Salford
Full-Time | Immediate Start | £500-£550 per week

A highly regarded specialist school in Salford is seeking a committed Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), communication difficulties, and associated learning needs.
About this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Role
This is a front-line, practical Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role where you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, supporting both academic progress and social-emotional development.
You will:
Support pupils with EHCPs to access differentiated curriculum
Assist with speech, language and communication interventions
Implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENDCo, and external professionals
Observe and record progress to inform personalised support plans
You will gain daily exposure to therapeutic approaches, structured communication systems, and multi-agency collaboration - experience that is directly transferable to future careers in psychology, therapy, and specialist education.
