Role OverviewThe Teaching Enhancement Quality Assurance Lead provides strategic leadership for teaching quality, classroom observation, mentoring and academic compliance across UKMC. The post holder ensures that teaching delivery meets institutional, partner, and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement in learning and teaching practice.
Key Responsibilities- Lead teaching enhancement and quality assurance activity across campuses.
- Manage and deliver a structured programme of classroom observations with developmental feedback.
- Design and oversee mentoring and coaching programmes to improve teaching quality and professional development.
- Promote innovative and inclusive teaching practices that enhance student engagement and performance.
- Monitor session reports, assessment practices, and teaching documentation for compliance and academic integrity.
- Analyse student feedback and performance data to inform improvement strategies.
- Provide specialist advice on quality assurance, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Work with academic leaders to identify training needs and deliver CPD programmes.
- Support alignment of teaching and assessment with national standards and best practice.
- Represent the College in internal and external quality reviews and contribute to institutional planning.
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or a related discipline with a recognised UK HE teaching qualification.
- Fellowship of Advance HE (or willingness to achieve).
- Substantial UK HE teaching experience with a strong record of teaching excellence.
- Experience of classroom observation, mentoring, and CPD delivery.
- Sound knowledge of UK HE quality assurance and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
