A highly regarded specialist primary school in Salford is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their thriving and supportive school community. The Role

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the wider support team to ensure pupils are fully supported throughout the school day. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping children to engage with learning, develop communication skills and build positive routines.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils with ASC and autism within the classroom
Assisting with structured learning activities tailored to individual EHCP targets
Promoting emotional regulation, social interaction and independence
Implementing behaviour strategies and sensory supports
Encouraging engagement through clear communication and consistent routines
Working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

The role requires someone who is confident taking initiative, while also contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive staff environment.
