Trainee Swimming Teacher

Trafford Leisure is looking for new Trainee Swimming Teachers in Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, and Urmston.

We will pay for your training and help you get qualified.

Pay:
From £12.90 - £16 per hour once you qualify

Hours:

After you qualify, you would ideally work at least 9 hours a week.

Most lessons run 4–7pm on weekdays and at weekends.

Start Your Journey in Swimming:
You’ll start by doing 50 hours of volunteering on poolside.

This helps you get confident and ready for the course.

We’ll then book you onto the Swim England qualification that suits your level.

The course is free (normally costs up to £700). What You’ll Do as a Swimming Teacher:
Teach lessons to children, adults, and school groups Help swimmers learn new skills and reach their goals Keep the pool area safe and tidy Plan your lessons and keep track of swimmer progress What We Need From You:
You must be 16 or older You must be able to swim confidently You’re happy to volunteer your time You are positive and willing to learn A DBS check (we pay for this) What You Get From Us:
