spire People is recruiting a Behaviour & Pastoral Mentor for a large, inclusive primary school in North Manchester.
This role is increasingly in demand but still under‑advertised. It suits candidates who are passionate about behaviour support, emotional wellbeing, and helping pupils re‑engage with learning.
The Role- Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Delivering behaviour and emotional regulation interventions
- Supporting during transitions, break times, and incidents
- Working closely with SENCOs, DSLs, and families
- Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs
- Backgrounds in youth work, pastoral care, education, or support roles
- Calm, consistent, and resilient approach
- No formal TA qualification required if experience is strong
