A thriving, Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Bolton BL4 is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their staff from April 2025. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for children in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
Support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and enriching learning environment.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a love for learning.
Regularly communicate with parents/carers regarding student progress.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
UK experience.
Experience or specialism in teaching Key Stage 1.
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and best teaching practices.
A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
Excellent classroom management skills and a positive attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
Experience in planning and delivering phonics programs.
Familiarity with SEND strategies and inclusive education.
Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom to enhance learning.
