About the Role
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Salford area. This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.

You will be working closely with pupils across the primary age range, including children with SEN or additional learning needs, offering tailored support through one-to-one and small-group interventions.

Key Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:
- Provide focused one-to-one and small-group support within the classroom
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparation, and assessment
- Deliver targeted interventions to support pupils with SEN or additional needs
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
- Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and personal development
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting
- A good understanding of the primary curriculum
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
- Be able to provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
