Cover People are actively looking for sports coaches with UK based experience working with children, preferably aged 11-16 years old. The ideal candidate would have a relevant degree (BSc or MSc) OR coaching badges with recent experience however this isn’t essential if you have a strong passion to support children.

This particular role is supporting children with specific interests in Sports, across their full timetable, supporting their educational and emotional needs. The school would like a relatable and confident Sports Coach for this specific role as they’d like to offer the students intervention if they’re emotionally dysregulated.

We’re working in partnership with a Good rated secondary school in the heart of Manchester, which is often praised for being a community-led school, offering support to families to give disadvantaged children a fair chance to achieve.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate a degree related to sports/PE or coaching equivalent
Recent experience teaching or sports coaching experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Passion to impact students to create a productive environment for students
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. The above vacancy is a temporary position. Occasionally, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. We offer flexibility with this, as we understand some candidates may not wish to commit to a permanent contract
