Aspire People is looking for Unqualified Teaching Assistants from backgrounds such as:

Youth work

Child support work

Residential childcare

Family support services

Sports coaching

Mentoring or tutoring

Primary schools across Manchester are keen to recruit candidates with strong child-centred experience, even if they haven't worked in a classroom before.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting pupils with behaviour, confidence, and engagement

Working with children who may need additional emotional or pastoral support

Supporting learning activities under teacher guidance

Helping to create a calm, structured classroom environment

Acting as a positive role model

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has recent experience working with children or young people

Is patient, empathetic, and resilient

Can build strong relationships with pupils

Is interested in transitioning into a school-based role

No teaching qualification is required - just relevant experience, commitment, and a genuine passion for working with children.
