Year 2 Class Teacher

Position: Year 2 Class Teacher (Permanent)
Location: Salford

Aspire People is recruiting a Year 2 Teacher for a friendly and inclusive primary school in Greater Manchester. This long-term role offers stability and the chance to make a real impact at a key stage in pupils' learning.

The school has a strong focus on early reading, writing, and pupil wellbeing, with excellent support in place for staff.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Teaching a Year 2 class and preparing pupils for KS1 assessments

Delivering engaging phonics, Maths, and English lessons

Using assessment to inform planning and interventions

Working closely with teaching assistants and phase leaders

Supporting pupils' academic and emotional development

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds QTS

Has experience or a strong interest in KS1

Is confident teaching phonics and early literacy

Brings energy, creativity, and structure to the classroom

This role is suitable for ECTs or experienced teachers.
