️ SEN Teaching Assistant

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs in a friendly, inclusive, and vibrant school environment. Responsibilities
  • Supporting students with SEN in the classroom, tailoring help to their individual needs
  • Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and learning resources
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to help students reach their goals
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and curiosity in every child
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where every student feels valued
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking initiative when needed
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for helping children learn
Requirements
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check or willingness to apply
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to provide professional references covering the last 2 years
  • Experience in an educational or childcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
