Nursery Teaching Assistant – Full Time (Irlam)

We are working with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Irlam who are looking to appoint a General Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis.

This is a long‑term role starting Monday 2nd February, working 5 days per week 8:20am‑3:30pm, supporting children within a friendly and inclusive nursery setting.

• Supporting the class teacher in a busy and engaging nursery environment
• Providing general classroom support and helping to deliver play‑based learning
• Offering additional support to two children with SEN, helping them access learning and routines
• Supporting children's social, emotional and developmental needs
• Creating a warm, safe and stimulating learning environment

• Has experience working within Early Years or Nursery settings
• SEN experience is desirable, particularly supporting young children with additional needs
• Is patient, caring and passionate about early childhood development
• Works well as part of a team and uses initiative
• Holds an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
