Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Contract Type: Fixed‑term (term time only, including INSET days)

Hours: Part‑time, 23 hours per week (Tuesday – Friday, 08:30 – 14:45)

Contract Length: Until 14 December 2026

Salary: SCP 22–26, pro rata

Support the Head of Year in managing a Year Group, focusing on the pastoral welfare of all students, communicating with families, collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team, driving initiatives for good attendance, and overseeing behaviour and safeguarding matters.

• Support the Head of Year in planning and delivering individual pathways.
• Model and promote the Oasis ethos.
• Lead, plan and deliver intervention plans for vulnerable students, ensuring they make good or better progress.
• Collaborate with SLT and other staff on pastoral initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and families.
• Oversee behaviour and safeguarding matters for the year group.
• Drive attendance improvement initiatives.
• Support the implementation of school policy and procedures relating to welfare.
