Maths Teacher – Secondary School

Location: Trafford & South Manchester
Contract: Full‑Time
Start Date: Immediate or ASAP
Salary: M1 – UPS3 (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are looking for Maths Teachers to work on a supply basis in a range of well‑regarded secondary schools in Trafford / South Manchester
, on a flexible part-time or full-time basis (depending on personal preference).

This role offers the chance to inspire students and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
, with the opportunity to develop strong relationships within different schools. You’ll be based at different schools on a flexible day‑to‑day basis. This position is ideal for ECTs to gain more classroom experience, as well as more experienced teachers
.

• Qualified Teacher Status (
  QTS
  ) or a recognised UK teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Passion for Maths education and raising pupil achievement

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Maths lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress
• Use a range of teaching strategies to support learners of all abilities
• Contribute to the Maths department and wider school community
