Sports Coach – Manchester:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking passionate and proactive teaching assistants with sports coaching backgrounds to join a specialist SEMH provision in Manchester, on a full-time basis.

Building positive relationships with pupils, encouraging progress and development.

Supporting pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, incorporating sports, to encourage engagement.

Developing an understanding of the different needs and learning styles of different pupils in the classroom.

• Experience with in a SEMH provision is highly desired.
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided).
• A strong background in sports and coaching is required.
• A resilient, proactive and positive nature.

• Hold Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references.
