Role Overview

Barnet FC Foundation are seeking a Casual Community Football Coach to plan and deliver high quality, community football coaching sessions across Harrow and Barnet. The role focuses on coaching children aged 5 to 16 in after‑school clubs, Saturday Soccer School at The Hive, holiday camps, lunch‑time clubs and match day events.

• Coach and support technical, tactical, physical, psychological, social and emotional development of players aged 5‑16.
• Deliver training sessions and match day support in accordance with the Foundation Phase curriculum.
• Carry out regular player performance reviews and parent/guardian meetings.
• Work closely with Head of Academy Coaching, Academy Manager, other Lead Phase Coaches and Head of Recruitment to align player coaching and recruitment with club philosophies.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate individualised physical development programs across the Foundation Phase.

• Experience coaching young footballers in a community or academy setting.
• Good knowledge of coaching principles for children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Background in safeguarding and child protection.

Hours of work: 2 days per week (15 hours total). Remuneration: £125 per day + holiday pay.
