Primary Teacher; ECT - KS1 - M20 Didsbury Education & Training

Aspire People are working with a well-established primary school in M20 who are looking to appoint an Early Career Teacher into a KS1 class on a long-term basis.

This role is designed for an ECT who wants to develop confidently within a structured, supportive environment, with clear expectations and access to experienced staff throughout the school.

• Full class responsibility within Key Stage 1
• Teaching a settled class with established routines
• Access to shared planning, schemes of work, and year-group resources
• Support from an experienced phase leader and senior leadership team
• Opportunity to observe strong practice and receive regular feedback
• Working alongside support staff where required

The school places emphasis on good teaching practice, consistent behaviour management, and realistic workload expectations for ECTs.

• Calm, organised classrooms

• Qualified Teacher Status (ECT)
• Recent UK primary school placement experience
• Good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• Organised, reflective approach to teaching
